The Club is situated in the Old Moulsham part of Chelmsford, Essex. We currently have around 60 full members. Our outdoor green is a six-rink grass green, on which we play from mid-April to late September. We have a men’s team which plays in the Chelmsford and District League and a mixed team which plays in the Central Midweek Bowling League. We also run a number of internal competitions. The ladies take part in competitions against other clubs.

In the winter months (October to mid-April) the club hall is used for short mat. We have two mats which are generally available every day. We have a team which plays in the South East Essex Short Mat Leagues and we also play friendlies against other short mat clubs. In addition, we run a number of internal competitions, including an internal league.

The Club Hall has a fully licensed bar and a fully equipped kitchen. We have a social section that put on functions and social evenings throughout the year.
